sterling silver/brass wire/acrylic paint
When we look at a piece of jewelry, we are seduced by its outer beauty. We first react to its form or materials used, and then understand the piece of jewelry as we wear. Here, among this behavior, the sense of sight and touch exist.
What interests me most is searching for “another sense”. I am fascinated by not only representing the superficial beauty of work, but also the exploration of another sense that provokes joy or tension.
Through my work, I like to add another sense such as smell or touch to jewelry. As if a beautiful flower seduces bees to spread out its pollen ultimately, I hope that my work brings enjoyable interaction created by the sense of touch, smell and sight.
